Acclaimed Canadian cellist No\u00e9mie Raymond is an artist destined to \u201cleave her mark on posterity through her immense sensitivity and immeasurable talent\u201d (<\/span>Journal des Citoyens<\/span><\/i>). As a chamber musician, soloist and educator, she is a versatile artist whose vibrant, eclectic journey has enriched the world\u2019s musical scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her diverse career has taken her from London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall to New York’s Carnegie Hall and Berlin’s Philharmonie, as well as concerts in Japan, Cambodia, Chile and elsewhere.<\/span> No\u00e9mie has collaborated with renowned virtuosos such as Midori, Pinchas Zukerman, Jan Lisiecki, Yekwon Sunwoo and Timothy Chooi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a soloist, No\u00e9mie has shared the stage with prestigious orchestras such as the National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Oakville Symphony, the Skagit Symphony, l’Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke<\/em>, and the Carlos Costas Chamber Orchestra.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1737232468584{padding-top: 2px !important;padding-bottom: 6% !important;}”]<\/p>\n

In the summer, she teaches at the Festival del Lago<\/i> in Mexico and she serves as a chamber music faculty at the Heifetz International Music Institute<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

No\u00e9mie established her reputation by taking prizes at the <\/span>Tremplin International<\/span><\/i>, the Edwin H. and Leigh W. Schadt String International Competition, the <\/span>Prix d’Europe<\/span><\/i> and the WAMSO Young Artist Competition, among others.
